Hey you. Yeah the one with fourteen tabs open, and a notes app that has at least 10 "someday I'll turn this into something" ideas sitting in a folder you haven't opened since March.
Welcome to Issue One. Thanks for stopping by.
This issue is an introduction to something that took me too embarrassingly long to accept: I am not one thing, I don’t have to be and I’m done apologizing for it.
Writer, strategist, assistant, researcher, designer - I've been all of these, sometimes in the same week, sometimes in the same day, and this is where I begin to fully step into embracing it and be multi-passionate.
This first issue is called "First Thoughts," because that's exactly what it is. Five different essays that came from five very different moods but somehow all circle the same question: what does it actually mean to build a life and a career on your own terms, right now, in this exact weird moment?
Remember your ideas may be random, but you can organize them into a collection of bundled observations and stories that is meant to be an experience, not just another hot take post in the feed.
So grab a coffee, get comfortable, and happy reading!
Take care,
Gina 🩵
